With more than 200 cabins delivered, we’ve worked with homeowners, contractors, and lifestyle block owners across the country. Yes, at Alpine Cabins, we offer rental cabins with a minimum hire term of six months. Rentals are available across Wellington, Kapiti, and Wairarapa. All cabins are delivered and set up ready to use, with powered options available. Add-ons like steps or skirting can be included if required.
Do you offer finance for cabins?
Yes, at Alpine Cabins, we offer cabin financing through our partner, MTF Finance. MTF is a trusted New Zealand provider offering flexible payment plans to help make getting a cabin more manageable. You can apply for finance on most purchases, including cabins for sale, custom builds, and accessory upgrades. It’s a straightforward way to spread the cost while getting the space you need sooner.
How long does it take to build a cabin onsite?
Onsite builds typically take between 3 to 7 days, depending on the size of the cabin, site conditions, and weather. Smaller, more straightforward builds may be completed in as little as 3 days, while larger or more customised cabins may take up to 7 days. At Alpine Cabins, we’ll assess your site and provide a more accurate timeline before starting. We aim to complete your build efficiently without compromising
on quality.
What’s the difference between pre-built and kitset cabins?
Pre-built cabins are fully assembled before delivery and arrive ready to use. Kitset cabins come in flat-pack form and need to be assembled on site. Kitsets are ideal for properties with limited access or for those who prefer a DIY option. At Alpine Cabins, we offer both pre-built and kitset cabins in a range of sizes to suit different sites and preferences.
What’s included in a self-contained cabin?
A self-contained cabin includes a toilet, shower, vanity, kitchenette, and LPG hot water system. It’s designed to function as a fully independent living space. Sizes typically range from 6×3m to 8×3m, with layout options available. At Alpine Cabins, all self-contained units are built for comfort, convenience, and practical use.
